Interior magazine, issue 04: The In-Between Issue
Mellanrum is an interior design magazine exploring the rooms we live in, and the space between them. Issue 04 is devoted to the in-between: the stairwells, hallways and doorways we pass through every day but rarely notice. Through portraits, architecture and quiet details, it looks at the shared spaces between home and the world outside.
The name means “the space between” in Swedish, which makes this issue a natural fit. The idea also shapes the layout, with generous white space, type placed in the gaps, and a rhythm that moves between calm and bold pages.
