IDEA: Spill Studio turns discarded lace garments into tablecloths for long summer dinners. Delicate pieces that would otherwise be thrown away are given a second life at the table, reimagined through colour, texture and styling.

The name works on two levels. A tablecloth is made to be spilled on, with wine, crumbs and the marks of a good evening. And the lace itself is spill (spild, waste): garments that would otherwise be thrown away, given a new purpose at the table.
